It feels so good to be home! After nearly two weeks of not being home, I look forward to getting back into routine. My Journey to the Heart was great! I have never experienced anything so amazing. God showed me so much! He showed me how much I had neglected my younger brothers and sisters and that I need to love them more. Believe me, this is a very hard task at times, which I’m sure you already know. I also learned not how to pray but to pray. There were six teams that went on the journey each team was made up of about thirteen girls. I don’t know about the rest of the teams, but our team had some amazing times of prayer. one night we spent two hours of prayer together crying out to God and confessing things to Him and praying for others. The next night we spent four hours of laying hands on one another and praying each other. It truely was a powerful time. I had a wonderful time with my team! They all were an encouragement to me. We all grew closer to God together!

Sunday night, the twenty fifth, around dinner time I was asked if I wanted to go to Michigan with a family from our church to go blueberry picking the next day. If I wanted to go we had to leave that night for the two hour drive to Michigan. I said I did so my older brother and sister and I all packed a backpack real quick like and headed out. It tuned out to be really fun and tasty too. We picked one hundred and fifty-four pounds of blueberries all in the span of three hours! After lunch we headed to the lake for some swimming, tubing, skiing, and wave running. It was so much fun! after dinner we headed home on another two hour drive.
